AOM members can seek support for Annual Meeting participation through AOM’s 26 Divisions and Interest Groups (DIGs). A limited number of scholarships are offered by DIGs. Scholarships offer 1 (one) complimentary registration for the Annual Meeting, with an AOM membership valid through 31 August as a prerequisite. Scholarships are recommended for students, members who have financial hardship or those participating in doctoral student programming. DIGs also have accountability for recommending a limited number of recipients to receive waivers. Waivers offer 1 (one) complimentary registration for the Annual Meeting, without an AOM Membership requirement. Waivers are specifically intended for individuals who otherwise would not attend the Annual Meeting, such as Guest Speakers, Panelists and Distinguished Guest. Membership benefits are not included. Please contact your DIG directly for more information.
In addition, when financial burdens extend to paying membership fees, AOM continues to offer a Membership Dues Assistance Program, a one-time dues deferral for current members to support you during your difficult time. To qualify, you must be an existing AOM member who is currently up for renewal. Preference will be given to student members.
