What happens if my proposal is accepted? What is the process for submitting a full manuscript?

If your proposal is accepted, you will be assigned an associate editor, with whom you will work on your full manuscript. You will typically have 4 months from the time of proposal acceptance until your first full manuscript draft is due. This manuscript will be reviewed by your associate editor and one editor-in-chief, but will not go out for blind review by any other reviewers. Multiple revisions of full manuscripts are common before acceptance. It is also important to note that acceptance of a proposal does not guarantee that a full manuscript will be ultimately accepted for publication. While rare, full manuscripts are rejected if they do not fulfill the promise of the proposal or are deemed inappropriate or inadequate in quality for publication.
